About GBR Consult
Perspective is
a practical advantage.
Independent, commercially grounded advice from Graham Reid MRICS.

Graham Reid MRICS
One adviser.
A broader view.
More than 25 years across property consultancy, banking, land and development, including leadership of an award-winning housebuilding business.
As Joint Managing Director of Scotia Homes, Graham led core functions across land, development, commercial, finance, sales and marketing. That means understanding how an acquisition decision plays out across the whole business, through to delivery and sale.

Experience that
changes the questions.
At Savills, Graham built the development business in the North of Scotland. As Land Director at Bancon Homes, he worked across strategic land, planning and viability. Earlier, he chaired Clydesdale Bank’s commercial real estate capital committee in Scotland, following a foundation in surveying and valuation at Shepherd.
An owner sees potential; a developer tests viability; a funder considers risk and repayment. Graham brings those perspectives together to challenge assumptions and find a practical route forward.
Judgement you
can work with.
Graham’s experience ranges from individual plots and smaller development schemes to strategic masterplans involving thousands of homes.
In its first year, GBR Consult advised on projects with a combined value exceeding £1 billion.
Understanding value, testing viability, allocating risk and structuring funding matter whether a decision involves five homes or five thousand.
GBR deliberately remains a personal consultancy. Clients deal directly with Graham, with access to senior-level experience without the layers of a larger practice.
Sometimes the first job is finding the right question.
